CMP brass indoor and outdoor glands are most commonly used with Steel Wire Armoured cable (SWA). Each cable gland provides mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity via armour wire termination.
All CMP LSF cable glands are designed and tested for compliance with EN 50267-2-1, the test on gases evolved during combustion of materials applied to cables under fire conditions.
All LSF cable glands meets the requirements of London Underground LTD Fire Safety Regulations.
The brass grade for all glands is CuZn39Pb3 (CW614N) to EN12168
