Cleveland Cable supplies a range of bare copper conductors both Soft and Hard Drawn.
Soft Drawn Bare Copper Strand Cable is ideal for main foundation earthing to tie in erected steelwork and for new build structures where high conductivity is required. The Bare Copper Soft Drawn Cable features a stranded plain annealed circular copper conductor with a voltage rating of 450 volts.
Hard Drawn Bare Copper Strand Cable is ideally suited for use in electrical grounding systems and on insulators for Overhead line transmission and distribution applications Hard drawn stranded copper conductors offers greater flexibility than a solid, hard-drawn wire.
This uninsulated wire can be used as an earthing cable. The copper also offers natural resistance against the elements such as wet and humid climates.
