Description

Catenary systems are used as an alternative to a 3rd live rail  in a light rail or tram network. Dropper wire is connected to a catenary wire with the contact wire suspended below. The dropper wire tends to be thinner than the main bus wire as it only has to be thick enough to carry the amount of current needed to power the component in question. Cleveland cable Company only supply Network Rail Approved Dropper wires.
