Multicore SWA Hydrocarbon Resistant Power 1kV Cable-1.5mm² to 120mm²

Multicore SWA Hydrocarbon Resistant Power 1kV Cable-1.5mm² to 120mm²

Description

This multicore copper cable is used in Class I, Division II, hazardous areas as classified by the oil and gas industry. They are built with protection against the flammable vapours and gases that may be present. They provide low voltage power supply to electricity systems in these areas. They are resistant to aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons with a polyamide intermediate sheath and special compound PVC outer sheath which serves as a barrier to moisture ingress. It is commonly used in switching stations and industrial plants. Due to the mechanical steel wire armour it is suitable for external and internal installation in cable ducts and for direct burial.
