N1XE-R/U Cable 10mm² to 16mm²

Description

Swedish standard N1XE copper power cables are a low voltage power cable with a rating of 0.6/1kV primarily for use in fixed installations. They are available with black numbered cores for N1XE-U or colour-coded cores as N1XE-R. N1XE cables are mainly specified in power stations and other heavy industry plant. For these highly regulated installations, they are available with a yellow or black outer Polyethylene (PE) sheath.

N1XE cables can withstand harsh environmental conditions operating in Sweden with a temperature range of -50°C to +90°C.

The N1XE cables are manufactured in accordance with SS 424 14 18, are designed for external use. The UV resistant outer sheath allows for above-ground applications but it is also suitable for installation in buried cable ducts.

The N1XE-R/U is mainly used for power distribution in power stations, industrial installation and switchgears, as well as in local mains distribution.
