(N)TSCGEWÖU - 3.6/6kV and 6/10kV Submersible Cable - 25mm² to 185mm² with reduced earth conductors
Description
(N)TSCGEWÖU is a specialized medium-voltage flexible power supply cable designed primarily for heavy-duty applications in mining and marine environments. The "submersible" variant of this cable is engineered for permanent immersion in water at depths of up to 300 meters.
It is a is a heavy-duty, flexible, medium-voltage rubber submersible power cable for harsh mining and marine environments, designed for trailing/reeling operations which produce high mechanical and torsional stress. The cable comprises of tough rubber insulation and sheathing, The code breaks down the construction as follows: N=Sheathed, T=Three cores, S=Screened, C=Copper conductor, G=Rubber, WÖU=Special outer sheath for water/oil/abrasion resistance.
It is a class 5 flexible supply cable for use in permanent immersion in fresh, salty and brackish water such as estuaries and marshes up to 300 metres deep. For applications such as pumps, dredgers and floating docks. It is also suitable for trailing operations of opencast mining equipment both internally and external.
