SiF Silicone 180 Cable - 0.50mm² to 300mm²
Description
SiF Silicone 180 Cable is a single core flexible cable which can be used for operation in temperatures up to 180°C. They are mainly utilised as internal wiring for lamps, heating equipment and electrical appliances as well as for switching boxes and distribution boards. The cables have a class 5 flexible tinned copper core surrounded by a silicone rubber sheath and are available in a large range of colours.
As silicone rubbers don't support fungal or bacterial growth they are also used in food processing, refrigeration and medical industries. SIA and SIAF cables are also widely used in the Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals industries.
SIA 180 cables are rated to 300/500V. SIA cables are heat resistant up to 180°C and can also be employed at temperatures as low as -60°C. These silicon cables are low smoke zero halogen and are suitable for use in public buildings under CPR 2017
