LiYY Cable

Description

LiYY is a multi-core, signal and control cable with Class 5 flexible copper conductors and a Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) insulation and sheath. This cable is primarily used for low-frequency data transmission within computer systems, office equipment, and process control instrumentation. It is a standard choice for internal wiring in industrial plants, such as those in the packaging and wood processing sectors

Functionally, LiYY provides a wide operating thermal range, generally maintaining stability from -40°C to +80°C in static installations. It offers high flexibility and a reduced outer diameter compared to shielded variants. It is important to note that the PVC construction is intended for general-purpose applications where the absence of specific low-smoke or UV-resistant properties does not conflict with CPR 2017 regulations.
