Momentum continues to build for the North East Data Centre Hub as the forum announces its fourth event, set to take place at Freight Island in Newcastle on Thursday 10 September 2026.

Following the success of the NEDCH’s previous three events, each attracting more than 150 attendees, there is a clear and growing demand for the initiative, which brings together professionals from across the data centre industry in the North East.
Supporting the North East Data Centre Industry
The North East Data Centre Hub is a collaborative, not-for-profit forum founded by RED Engineering Design, Cleveland Cable Company, CMP Products, Durata, Daikin Applied (UK) Ltd and RWO.
The Hub exists to champion regional capability, strengthen the local supply chain and position the North East as a key player in the UK’s data centre ecosystem. It connects businesses, stakeholders and industry experts involved in the development and delivery of data centre infrastructure.
Fourth NEDCH Event at Freight Island, Newcastle
The Hub will welcome guests to Freight Island, one of Newcastle’s newest venues. Located in the heart of the city, it offers a vibrant and contemporary setting with flexible event space and modern facilities, creating an ideal environment for collaboration and networking.
