Description

The Thermocouple KX Overall Screened Extension Cable range is designed for transmitting temperature measurement signals from Type K thermocouple sensors. The cable comprises positive nickel-chromium and negative nickel-aluminium conductors, insulated with flame-retardant PVC and protected by an overall aluminium/polyester tape screen with a tinned copper drain wire to help minimise electrical interference and signal distortion.

Suitable for industrial applications where accurate temperature monitoring is essential, these unarmoured cables are used in power stations, oil refineries, processing plants and automation facilities. The overall screen provides protection against electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment and power lines, supporting reliable signal transmission between remote temperature sensors and control systems.
