Description

Axle Counter cable is used to connect the various elements of the Axle Counter System. It is suitable for installation in trackside cable troughing, buried duct route and installed in open air on the ballast and clipped to sleepers as required.

Construction

• Conductor: Solid tinned annealed copper conductor to BS EN 60228 (previously BS 6360)
• Insulation: Type 03 polythene to BS6234 (PE)
• Water Blocking: Petroleum jelly filled (XPS and XQS only)
• Sheath: Type 03 polythene to BS6234 (PE)
• Anti Rodent Protection: Fibre glass woven tape (FGT)
• Sheath Colour: Black
